Stories

Postby SAM » Sat Mar 28, 2009 11:36 am

Growthtrac is looking for stories from people who have been helped by this ministry, either through growthtrac.com, or growthtracradio.com.

Recording you story for air on the radio would be preferable. If this is something you would like to do to bless the lives of others and bring encouragement to their marriages, it would be greatly appreciated.

There was young woman who aired her story last year about sending her husband "marriage minutes" in Iraq to share with his platoon. It was a blessing to others in the military around the world.

Please pray about it. Our stories share our journey with God, and are always impactful toward
helping others who face similar struggles.

Contact 866-458-6266 or contact@growthtrac.com, if this is something you would like to do.

I have gotten much from the site, and am very thankful for it - but am still in the midst of the trials and am probably not the best candidate for this sort of spot. Good luck - there ought ot be a few here that would be better suited to it.

Sam

I honestly do not know what I would do without Growthtrac. Everyone on here is like family to me. The way God is upheld in everything, through everybody is such wonderful medicine for the soul. When a person goes through a devastating event, the feeling of desolation can overpower you. Thankfully, God led me here. Yes, it is still an ongoing process but Growthtrac has made it more attainable. One of the most important factors to me was that I do not feel alone. Any questions are answered. When one is down, you are lifted up by both the brothers and sisters. In turn, you are given the chance to maybe help someone who is trying to understand what has happened in their life.

No one is judged on here. God's wisdom is brought forth to meet the need in every situation. Everyone is ready to lend a hand when you have a particularly rough day. They are ready to speak harsh truth when its needed, too.

This forum brings together people with certain life experiences. There are not many places that a person can open up and truly show their pain. Reading that someone else has been where you are and they are moving past their pain is very reassuring. That is what Growthtrac does. It gives hope.

I meant to add that although my story is not "there" yet, I did want to say how important Growthtrac is. I don't believe that I would be this far along in my recovery without it.
