I am new here ((((hugs to all)))

I thought about this topic after reading GREAT wisdom of Wynne here.....she reminds me of someone very dear to my heart......my granny. I had a horrible childhood, but my granny was steadfast in teaching me the love of Christ. Her reward will be great I imagine, and I praise God for her!
When I was with my mother (divorced parents) I had my granny.....when I was with my Daddy, I had a lady name Winnie :) Both are precious to me.....

Just wanted to share and see where this leads yall.

In a weird way, the grandmother who was a "blood Catholic", who never darkened a church doorway, and who generally wouldn't talk about her salvation with me... planted seeds that led to my salvation.

I spent many a Sunday, when the weather was too bad to play outside, reading the Bible at her house. (It was either the Bible, or a farming book re: animal breeding, diseases, etc. Ask me a question about livestock, go ahead!)

Then God sent me my husband, who helped me to see more of the picture. I've been a Christian for 20 years now.
