Conversations with God, has become a pretty popular book series. While you won't come across it in a Christian Book store for good reason, you will find it in the Religion section of any other Book store. And now the author has created another version called Conversations with God for Teens. It is being published and sold by Scholastic books in their Inspirational book club, which is being promoted to Christian schools.

"The Conversation with God", series involves everyday questions being answered by God. God answers all your questions. But this god doesn't care about the bible, and is obviously a man making an attempt to speak as and for God. This book creates a god, the way man wants to think God thinks. The problem is any new Christians or Teen reading this book may think that it is on-target. The book includes lots of good common sense answers. But where it cross the Bible, it takes a big detour. This book creates an americanized god for the masses, a user-friendly god specially design for our special needs and problems.
